OVERVIEW

Cambridge Resilience Forum

A forum where leaders and professionals, by asking questions, exchanging ideas and experience, learn to build resilient organisations and a sustainable society.

Rapidly rising complexity and uncertainty require that we think very differently about our future.Yet we live in a world which changes faster than our capacity to learn. How do we keep our thinking relevant? How do we prepare ourselves and our organizations for the likelihood of significant turbulence?

The Cambridge Resilience Forum creates a lively environment for a more contemporary type of learning.

FORUM STRUCTURE AND FORMAT

We will run a minimum of ten evening or early morning learning events each calendar year in both Johannesburg and Cape Town. These programmes will include talks by top leaders and international experts, presentations on new innovations and research and panel discussions offering invaluable insights into important projects, policies and trends. This will be augmented by dialogues and small member only events, plus a range of web-based resources. The overall focus will be on building resilient organisations, personal leadership and contributing strategically to the rapid evolution of a sustainable society.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

The forum is intended for professionals and decision makers with an interest in the interface between organisations and their environment. The Cambridge Resilience Forum offers a flexible and affordable opportunity for continuous professional development. Where possible, the Forum will align itself with professional bodies in South Africa to offer programmes that are accredited for continuing professional development (CPD).
